Objective

The aim of this course is to provide an overview of the theoretical aspects of health management and to acquaint students with the latest trends in health management theory and research, to acquire knowledge of relevant research topics and approaches, to develop skills and competencies for scientific research in the context of doctoral thesis.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge in management, health systems organization, qualitative and quantitative research methods.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

1.Doctoral students know and apply the latest scientific theories and findings in various fields of health management, manage the research methodology of health management science, modern research methods and data analytical methods to achieve the research goal

Skills

1.Doctoral students are able to solve health management research tasks at the health industry and company level, critically analyze, classify and synthesize information, independently identify, formulate and explain a research idea, choose appropriate research methods, develop a research plan, and plan, develop and implement national and international scientific projects.

Competence

1.Doctoral students identify the problem and offer a solution for health care management at the scientific level, choosing appropriate innovative research methods, substantiate new research approaches, develop an original doctoral dissertation, contribute to expanding knowledge in an interdisciplinary perspective, and understand the application of this knowledge in health management.
