About Study Course
Objective
Ensure acquisition of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the care of pregnant women with endocrine disorders. Learn how to manage pregnancy in a patient with diabetes mellitus.
Learning outcomes
1.The student will obtain basic knowledge of peculiarities of prenatal care for patients with diabetes mellitus, gestational diabetes and disorders of the thyroid gland function.
1.The student will be able to draw up a long-term examination and treatment plan. Will be able to manage insulin therapy during pregnancy in patients with diabetes mellitus and gestational diabetes. Will be able to ensure long-term observation of the patients who have had gestational diabetes.
1.Ability to apply the acquired knowledge in the care of pregnant women with endocrine disorders, especially in the management of pregnancy in a diabetic patient.
