About Study Course
Objective
To ensure the acquisition of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the diagnosis of kidney problems, the evaluation of their functional condition and the performance of various treatment techniques in patients with diabetes mellitus.
Learning outcomes
1.Will obtain basic knowledge about kidney damage in case of diabetes. Will learn to evaluate kidney function and determine the necessary treatment tactics. Will know how to prevent kidney damage.
1.Will be able to draw up a long-term examination and treatment plan for patients with diabetic nephropathy. Will be able to correct anaemia with erythropoietin and IV iron infusion when needed.
1.Knows the theoretical and practical aspects of diabetic nephropathy. Able to choose the method of renal replacement therapy and prepare for peritoneal dialysis or hemodialysis. Selection of a central venous catheter, application, and prevention of complications.
