Objective
To ensure acquisition of theoretical knowledge and practical skills on the role of radionuclide diagnosis and therapy in the treatment of endocrine diseases.
Learning outcomes
Knowledge
1.The resident will obtain basic knowledge of radionuclide diagnostic and therapeutic options for patients with endocrine disorders.
Skills
1.The resident will be able to develop an examination and treatment plan for patients with thyroid disorders who are scheduled for 131-I therapy. Evaluate radionuclide diagnostic tests, indications and contraindications.
Competence
1.The medical resident will be able to apply the acquired knowledge and skills in the assessment of the radionuclide diagnosis and treatment methods in endocrinology.
