About Study Course
Objective
To provide medical residents with the opportunity to acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills in diagnostic radiology in patients with endocrine diseases. Understanding of making and interpretation of different radiological examinations (ultrasound, X-ray, CT and MR) according to the requirements of the regulation in endocrinology specialty in order to prepare a physician for certification as an endocrinologist.
Learning outcomes
1.Understand radiological examinations and the related endocrine pathology theoretically and practically.
1.Able to assess different radiological examinations related to endocrine pathology. Understand the theoretical principles of these examinations, evaluate the validity of the examination indications. Participate in manipulations of radiological examinations and making assessment (descriptions) of radiological examinations. Able to assess the indications for thyroid aspiration biopsy, making aspiration and interpretation of the results. Lymph node biopsies.
1.Ability to independently apply the acquired knowledge in the use of radiological examination and therapeutic techniques in endocrine diseases.
