Objective

To provide comprehension and theoretical, practically applicable knowledge of basic concepts of economy, types of business, their organisation and management, as well as support systems for successful operation.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

Upon completing the study course students will be able to independently explain and describe basic processes of economy; identify main sections of a business plan; outline what information must be included in each section of the business plan.

Skills

After completion of the study course students will be able to independently define the risks existing in the enterprise, assess them and plan actions to mitigate them, analyse enterprise’s risks, prepare a job description.

Competence

Will be able to independently develop and present a business plan.
