About Study Course
Objective
To acquire knowledge about the objectives and tasks of epidemiological surveillance, to supplement knowledge about information entry modules of the national infectious disease surveillance and monitoring system VISUMS, information export functions, about epidemiological analysis, research, epidemiological risk determination, statistical processing of epidemiological surveillance data.
Acute upper respiratory infections and influenza monitoring, epidemiological surveillance of tuberculosis and STIs.
Learning outcomes
1.During the time allotted for the study course, the medical resident acquires knowledge about the objectives and tasks of epidemiological surveillance, to supplement knowledge about information entry modules of the national infectious disease surveillance and monitoring system VISUMS, information export functions, about epidemiological analysis, research, epidemiological risk determination, statistical processing of epidemiological surveillance data.
Acute upper respiratory infections and influenza monitoring, epidemiological surveillance of tuberculosis and STIs.
1.As a result of completing the study course, the medical resident will be able to perform data entry and selection from the national infectious disease surveillance and monitoring system VISUMS, epidemiological analysis of infectious diseases, determining population risk groups and territories, conduct research (cohort, case-control studies), perform statistical processing of the information obtained.
1.After successful completion of the study course, the medical resident achieves the mandatory competence of a certified public health physician, which enables data entry and selection from the national infectious disease surveillance and monitoring system VISUMS, epidemiological analysis of infectious diseases, determining population risk groups and territories, conducting research (cohort, case-control studies), perform statistical processing of the information obtained, to participate in acute upper respiratory infections and influenza monitoring, epidemiological surveillance of tuberculosis and STIs.
