Objective

To ensure the acquisition and improvement of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in forensic medicine in accordance with the requirements of the regulations of the specialty of neurosurgery.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

1.Understanding of neurotrauma pathomorphology depending on mechanism of trauma, as well as issues of thanatogenesis.

Skills

1.To perform an examination of a neurotrauma during autopsy; to draw a doctor-expert report on neurotrauma.

Competence

1.The doctor, using the acquired knowledge and skills, is able to independently assess the autopsy findings, give an opinion on neurotrauma, and, if necessary, involve the relevant specialist.
