About Study Course
Objective
To provide and deepen the basic knowledge in forensic chemistry and toxicology necessary for forensic medicine residents in order to prepare the forensic medicine resident for certification and independent work in the specialty of forensic medical research of living and dead persons.
Learning outcomes
1.Knowledge of forensic toxicology, outline the technology used in it, correct sample collection and define toxic substances.
1.Remove, package and send samples of biological origin for forensic toxicological examination from living and dead persons (at least 300 cadaver examinations in all study years), determine the occurrence of death from poisoning, correctly interpret the results of laboratory examinations in forensic medical examinations of living persons and corpses.
1.Independently carry out the examination of the corpse and the medical examination of the corpse in cases of poisoning.
