Objective
The aim of the course is to provide knowledge and understanding of diseases of the oral mucosa, salivary gland pathologies, the most common manifestations of general diseases in the oral cavity, the most common bone diseases, their diagnostic methods and treatment options involving general medical specialists.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of anatomy and oral morphology, hystology.
Learning outcomes
Knowledge
1.Is familiar with the anatomy, histology and normal clinical appearance of the oral mucosa.
Skills
1.Recognise healthy and abnormally altered clinical signs of oral mucosa.
Competence
1.Knowledge of the pathology of the oral mucosa in the assessment of the health of the patient’s mouth will be applied independently.
