About Study Course
Objective
The aim of this course is to provide theoretical and practical basis for interpretation of specific laboratory tests (bacteriological, virologic, parasitological, serological, immunological, etc.) to diagnose infectious diseases.
Learning outcomes
1.During the time allocated for the study course, the resident will:
- learn specific diagnostic methods for infectious diseases,
- be familiar with the principles of collection and storage of biological material,
- interpret the results of laboratory tests.
1.Resident will be able to:
- prescribe screening and specific laboratory tests for diagnosing infectious diseases and interpret the obtained data.
1.Using the knowledge and skills acquired, the resident will be able to make diagnosis, treatment and prevention of acute and chronic infectious diseases.
