Objective
To acquaint with the methods of examination of pregnant women, diagnosis and differential diagnosis of pregnancy pathologies, investigation of women in labour, and how to make the plan of labour and delivery. To teach basic examination methods of pregnant and labouring patients.
Learning outcomes
Knowledge
1.Physiology and pathology of pregnancy and the process of labour. Knowledge about fetal and neonatal post-mortem examinations, placental and umbilical cord pathologies.
Skills
1.Skills to obtain history from pregnant women and women in labour, to perform examination, to make diagnosis and differential diagnosis. Labour risk assessment, plan of management.
Competence
1.Obtained competence in examination of pregnant women and women in labour, diagnosis and plan of management.
