About Study Course
Objective
To promote the acquisition of theoretical knowledge, experience and practical skills in the aetiology, pathogenesis, clinical manifestations and course of infectious diseases in children.
Learning outcomes
1.During the time allocated for the study course, the resident will:
- recognise the most common paediatric infectious diseases;
- know their aetiology and pathogenesis;
- be familiar with the clinical manifestations of paediatric infectious diseases, principles of diagnostic algorithms and therapy principles.
1.The resident will be able to:
- prescribe screening tests for specific laboratory diagnosis and differential diagnosis of infectious diseases in children;
- interpret the results obtained;
- make a diagnosis.
1.Using the acquired knowledge and skills, the resident will be able to perform highly qualified and specialised diagnosis, treatment and prevention of acute and chronic infectious diseases, recognise and differentiate infectious diseases from other pathologies.
