About Study Course
Objective
comprehension of the legal issues according to the regulation of the forensic medicine specialty and requirements of the judicial expert candidate, in order to prepare a doctor for the certification of forensic medicine expert specialty (at Latvian Physicians Association) and further certification of forensic expert (according to the Law of forensic experts).
Learning outcomes
1.of criminal, civil and administrative procedure roles in Latvian Republic that refers to the expert activities, their status, rights and obligations of these processes, as well as the expertise to be carried out and the conclusion of an expert in these processes , general knowledge about judiciary in Latvian Republic.
1.to use legal knowledge by participating in court proceedings and conducting investigations in drawing up procedural documents
1.to apply aforementioned knowledge in forensic medicine expert practice
