Objective

To ensure a complex evaluation of the professional competences of the prospective teacher in the theoretical field and practical activity, examining the student’s ability to plan, implement, manage and evaluate the teaching and education process in the field of sports and health, State defence training, to comply with the requirements of professional ethics and regulatory enactments, to ensure an inclusive, safe and competence-based learning process, as well as to reflect on his or her professional activities and possibilities for improvement.

Prerequisites

Knowledge of basic principles of pedagogy, psychology and sports science, legal relations regarding student development, planning, organisation and evaluation of the learning process, as well as regulatory enactments regulating the field of education. Skills to develop a lesson plan, select appropriate learning methods and means, organise a safe and inclusive learning environment, assess pupils’ learning achievements and reflect on their professional activities. Competences to cooperate with the parties involved in the educational process, respecting the principles of professional ethics, academic integrity and the protection of children’s rights.

Knowledge

1.Analyses the specific characteristics of the development, learning and individual development of pupils of different ages and their role in planning the learning and parenting process.

Skills

1.Plan, organise and manage a sports and health curriculum, a national defence curriculum in accordance with national education standards, learning outcomes to be achieved and individual needs of pupils.

Competence

1.A differentiated and individualised learning process shall be implemented, ensuring equal learning opportunities for pupils with different abilities, needs and learning experiences.
