Objective

The aim of the course is to introduce the creation of web design and the UX design process and methods for creating holistic, user-oriented web and mobile solutions, as well as to provide practical insight into UI design principles, prototyping and user testing methods. As a result of the course, students are familiar with the UX concept and process, have gained practical insight into prototyping and creating web layouts, and are also able to apply UX/UI methods in their further study and work projects.

Prerequisites

Students should have prior knowledge of digital image acquisition and post-processing. It is preferable to have attended the "Digital Imaging" course.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

As a result of the course, students acquire the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
knows the UX / UI design process and methods;
will be able to apply knowledge of prototyping and design development methods and tools;
will be able to apply knowledge of methods for evaluating the effectiveness of web design.

Skills

Will be able to evaluate user needs in a digital solution.
Will be able to plan web navigation and structure according to user needs.
Able to identify appropriate user web design evaluation methods.
Will be able to apply knowledge of methods for evaluating the effectiveness of web design.

Competence

Create an interactive web design project using the UX process.
Familiar with web technologies and aspects to be taken into account when creating a website.
Knows the web project development process.
Will be able to apply prototyping.
