• Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs from 1982 to 1991
• Chair of the Senate
• Rector from 1988 to 2009
• Head of the Internal Quality Assurance System Management Centre since 2009

Viesturs Krauksts

Prof. Krauksts has been working at LASE (formerly LIPE) since 1966:

• Department of Skiing (Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor, Head of the Department) from 1966 to 1992.
• Vice-Rector for Studies from 1992 to 2009.
• Department of Swimming from 1992 to 2012.
• Lead Researcher since 2011.
