Collaborations
The Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Innovation Centre is open to collaborating with companies across a wide range of sectors from medicine, military medicine, sports, and nutrition to social sciences. The centre also collaborates with other research institutions and hospitals to ensure an interdisciplinary approach to addressing various issues.
Types of collaboration
- Research project partnerships: joint research with companies, which can include both scientific research projects and the development of practical innovations in particular fields;
- Technology transfer: we provide the opportunity for technologies and intellectual property that the University has developed to be used for commercial purposes;
- Contract research: we offer to prepare solutions and carry out research to address the defined problem by attracting industry experts;
- Industry challenges: we are keen to find out about your industry or business challenges and involve our students to seek possible solutions in a creative way;
- Research grants and funding opportunities: we offer companies the opportunity to financially support specific areas of research that are important for developing a particular industry;
- Innovation events: together we can organise seminars, conferences, or workshops to promote knowledge exchange, innovation development, and collaboration;
- And many other opportunities …
