Construction Project Unit

Scope of activities

• Organisating, coordinating and managing renovations, reconstructions, construction work and the restoration of real estate owned, possessed and held by Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU);
• Researching planned real estate purchases and the real estate owned, possessed and held by RSU, as well as developing proposals for creating, improving and developing them;
• Planning procurements related to providing the department's tasks in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations and financial resources planned by RSU;
• Drawing up and monitoring the execution of construction work plans;
• Involving, administering and overseeing the parties involved in the management and construction of real estate owned, possessed and held by RSU in accordance with the requirements of the laws and regulations in force and the technological procedures;
• Coordinating procurement, overseeing the design, supervision and execution of construction contracts, project implementation, management and control.
