The first call for research and innovation project competitions has been announced within the research platform “Biomedical and Photonics Research Platform for Innovative Product Creation” or BioPhoT. After submitting the project, the most important is the first selection round of the competition – pitching the idea to the BioPhoT expert panel.
To prepare for the presentation, we invite researchers from Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) to participate in the Idea Afternoon, organised by the RSU Innovation Centre in cooperation with Starup House Riga. As part of the event, research groups will have the opportunity to practice pitching their ideas and receive feedback from industry and startup representatives. Also, researchers at the event will be able to find business leaders for their project among startups and attract other business competencies to their team.
Research groups are invited to prepare a presentation of their project in .pdf or .ppt format for the event, using the BioPhoT platform template. The presentation time is 5 minutes, and a question-and-answer session will take place after each presentation.
