Co-organized by the Social Sciences Research Centre at RSU and the UCL Institute of Education.

This international workshop explores the human dimension of mobility in highly competitive and specialized professional fields. While long training paths and global labour market pressures often require individuals to relocate, much less is known about the emotional, relational, and personal dynamics that shape these career trajectories. The event examines how professionals navigate mobility, maintain relationships, and sustain their well-being while building demanding careers.

The workshop is organized within the project (R)E-TIES: Managing mobility and human relations in digitally saturated social worlds (RSU-PAG-2024/1-0017) co-financed by European Union's Recovery and Resilience Mechanism.
