Purpose of the personal data processing – registration for participation in the qualification improvement and collaboration event 'Spectral flow cytometry with imaging – theory and practice as part of the EATRIS infrastructure' (hereinafter – the Event).

Categories of personal data

1. Name, surname of the person – required to identify the person.
2. Institution, position – to collect and analyse results of the Event.
3. Email address, phone number - to communicate with the person and send necessary information.

Legal basis for the processing of personal data: Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation.

Recipient of personal data: Event participants, University staff.

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

The University shall ensure compliance with the data processing and protection requirements in accordance with laws and regulations and, in the case of objections, shall take appropriate actions to resolve the objection. Processing and storage of personal data

The Event registration data will be stored by the University for ten years after the end of the Event. The video recording of the Event will be stored for ten years from the date of the video recording. Photographs from the Event will be stored for ten years. Personal data shall be deleted after the expiry of these periods. 

Rights of the data subject

A person has the right to access their personal data stored by the University. A person also has the right to request correction, as well as deletion of such data; a person may withdraw also their consent to the processing of personal data at any time.
