Become an RSU International Student Ambassador
Riga Stradiņš University (RSU) is expanding its International Student Ambassador Programme and is looking for three highly motivated, dynamic students to join our team.

About the Role
As an RSU International Student Ambassador, you are a key voice of the university:
- Represent RSU at international and local events (Open Days, Welcome Week, fairs, webinars)
- Support prospective and incoming international students throughout their journey
- Share insights about your home country’s education system
- Contribute to international recruitment and outreach strategies
- Create engaging digital content (social media, videos, articles)
- Deliver presentations and participate in public speaking activities
- Share your own experiences while amplifying diverse student stories
- Contribute to RSU’s presence in areas such as:
- Sports & Student Life
- Research
- Events
- Clinical Partnerships
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking students who are:
- Confident communicators and natural storytellers
- Active in student life or community activities
- Experienced (or eager to grow) in content creation and social media
- Comfortable with public speaking and presentations
- Proactive, approachable, and culturally aware
- Strong in problem-solving and collaboration
Language Requirements
- English (C1 level) – mandatory
- One additional EU/EEA language (B2/C1 or native level)
- Priority given to candidates with knowledge of German and / or Italian
Academic Requirements
- Strong academic performance
- Active RSU student from 3rd to 9th semester
- One ambassador position is reserved for a student from the Dentistry study programme

Time Commitment & Compensation
- Approximately 5 hours per week (flexible, event-based schedule)
- Agreement valid until the end of 2026
- Monthly compensation: €500 (gross)

- Stage 2: Assessment of submitted documents (April 14 – April 16)
Shortlisted candidates after evaluation are invited to the next stage to prepare mini campaign to promote one of RSU Ambassadors work areas:
- Sports & Student Life
- Research
- Events
- Clinical Partnerships
Candidates who are not selected to proceed to the next stage receive an application update via e-mail.
- Stage 3: Final Round – Campaign Pitch (April 21– April 24)
- Present your campaign
- Showcase your motivation, ideas, and communication skills
- Demonstrate why you are the right ambassador for RSU
Your campaign must include:
- A social media post (e.g., Instagram)
- A short article (max. 500 words)
- A presentation pitch (max. 7 minutes)
This is your chance to show us your creativity, strategy, and voice.
- Result Announcement (by April 27)
Selected candidates join the RSU International Student Ambassador team and begin their journey representing RSU globally.
