International Studies and Research Support Fund

The purpose of SIA Starptautisko studiju un pētniecības atbalsta fonds (International Studies and Research Support Fund Ltd) is to promote the development of Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU), to recruit international students, as well as introduce international students to the Latvian infrastructure. The fund also organises public events and promotes the development of cooperation with foreign training and scientific institutions.

The fund’s strategic objective is to establish cooperation with natural and legal persons who recruit international students and who provide RSU with:

• international students according to the university’s needs and capacity;
• help to administer the registration of international students;
• support at all levels and education and research directions at the university;
• support in promoting academic, cultural, and sports activities at the university and raise their level.
