On 1 October, Jānis Grasis, the Vice-Dean of the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Faculty of Law, Aldis Lieljuksis, the Head of the academic and professional Law master’s programme, and Valdis Voins, the Head of the Police Work bachelor’s programme, met with Ameet Kabrawala, the Federal Prosecutor and Regional Resident Legal Advisor at the US Embassy in Riga, and Zane Zvirgzdiņa, the US Embassy’s Legal Adviser.

At the meeting the parties discussed topical issues related to anti money laundering initiatives and agreed on mutual cooperation in this direction. 

Representatives from the US Embassy in Latvia will give guest lectures to the students of the Faculty of Law. Students from other social sciences faculties will also be welcome to attend the lectures. The first guest lecture will be held on 16 October. Further information will be posted on RSU website.
