RSU Alumni

On 22 September, Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) graduates were invited to New Gen Evening held in the cosy Buberts café in Riga’s Quiet Centre. All RSU graduates, whether you are a recent graduate, or your study days are long behind you, are invited to attend these evenings that are organised by the RSU Alumni Association’s Intelligence Club. New Gen Evenings are intended to provide alumni with an opportunity to network and make friends in an informal atmosphere.

The most recent New Gen Evening was opened by Dins Šmits, Chair of the Board of the RSU Alumni Association. Šmits spoke about the Alumni Association’s current events and introduced the university’s alumni rings, which are a new addition to the university’s alumni experience. You can find and view the rings in person at the RSU Gift shop, or make an order on the RSU website. As the evening went on, guests were entertained by Latvian comedian Rūdolfs Kugrēns.

‘As a fresh alumnus, the Intelligence Club’s New Gen event seemed like a great opportunity to meet and network with other university graduates in a relaxed atmosphere, while enjoying delicious snacks!’ says Dāvids Orlovs, Member of the RSU Alumni Association.

The events give RSU alumni the opportunity to meet long-lost friends, fellow students and colleagues to share memories or discuss what has changed in each other’s lives and where the future might lead.

See you at the next Intelligence Club New Gen Evening!
