RSU participates in worldwide MuseumWeek social network campaign
From 23 to 29 April Rīga Stradiņš University is taking part in the worldwide joint social network and museum campaign - MuseumWeek. As part of the campaign, historical materials that have a connection with current affairs are published on social networks Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
MuseumWeek is a worldwide campaign where universities, businesses and museums are invited to look into their historical collections and share them on the internet. For a whole week, all participants will share their historical materials daily, according to the theme of the day. MuseumWeek campaign organisers are certain that culture, the arts, education and science are those sectors that have a positive influence on social development. For this reason the themes are devoted to common values - civic society and tolerance. Every day RSU will post a photo from its history museum collection on social networks, together with a hashtag as a topic to think about. For example, #professions, #heritage, #urbanenvironment and others.
