RSU Rector Aigars Pētersons discusses higher education, artificial intelligence and university development on TV24

On 6 October, Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Rector Prof. Aigars Pētersons, participated in the Latvian Television programme "Uz līnijas", where viewers asked questions about the development of higher education in Latvia, the role of international students, the prestige of vocational education, and the integration of artificial intelligence into studies.

The rector emphasised: ‘Our goal is to maintain high-quality, people-centered education, while boldly integrating artificial intelligence and innovation into the study process.’

The merger of RSU with the Latvian Academy of Sport Education (LASE), the development of the future sports complex in Pārdaugava, and the events of RSU's 75th anniversary were also discussed on the programme.
