RSU Senate nominates candidates for the Council members in three strategic areas

At the meeting of the Senate of Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) held on 14 April 2026, a decision was made regarding the nomination of the RSU Council members in three areas, in accordance with ‘The Regulation on the Procedure for the Selection and Nomination of the Members of the Council.’

Prof. D. Gardovska has been nominated for the position of the RSU Council member in academic and research management; Prof. T. Koķe has been nominated for the position in corporate governance, including strategy, budget, and risk management; and Assoc. Prof. K. Kupčs - for the position in international cooperation and international project management.

The candidates nominated by the Senate are appointed for the next four-year term as of 1 July 2026. A total of five candidates were applied for the three positions of the RSU Council members. We thank all candidates for participating in the selection process!
