Starting from the 2017 autumn semester Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Faculty of Medicine Statistics Laboratory provides consultations in statistics and research design not only to RSU students but also RSU teaching staff.
Teaching staff may come to the laboratory for assistance in the following matters:
- medical research methodology;
- data entry for research;
- use of data processing software (IBM SPSS, STATA, R);
- statistical processing and analysis methods;
- interpretation of results and graphical representation.
Consultations are provided to teaching staff by practicing surgeon Maksims Mukāns and mathematical statistician Eva Šauriņa.
Consultations in statistics are available to academic teaching staff.
