We invite staff, alumni, and students to the RSU Academic Ball 2026!
The annual Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Academic Ball will take place on Friday 24 April 2026 at 19:00 at Hanzas Perons (arrivals from 18:00).
The RSU Academic Ball has been held since 2002 and serves as a well-deserved culmination of the intellectual and practical work carried out throughout the academic year.
The ball's motto is Ad honorem artes, scientia, veritas (In honour of art, science, and truth). This evening is about people who think boldly and turn ideas into action that improves the world around us. Together, we are building an environment where science benefits people and society.
The event will open with a concert* featuring the choir Rīga, the winner of Young Artist of the Year at the Latvian Grand Music Awards 2025 Eduards Rediko, and Daumants Kalniņš performing a selection of Frank Sinatra songs. As traditional, the ball will begin with a polonaise, after which participants will spend the rest of the evening enjoying conversations, dancing, and engaging in different activities.

Tickets
Members of the RSU Alumni Association can receive tickets to the ball by filling out a registration form.
