Objective
To acquire basics of Latvian in order to be able to communicate at basic level A1 (according to Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
Prerequisites
Knowledge of the English language. Without preliminary knowledge of the Latvian.

1.Will know a minimum vocabulary for conversational topics.

1.Will be able to comprehend simple necessary information.
Competence
1.Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to use Latvian language at basic level in daily communication.
