Objective

Provide knowledge and practical experience of participation in a Balint group. A detailed look at the basic principles of doctor-patient relationship building, their therapeutic aspects. Promote students’ ability to reflect on processes that occur in a doctor-patient relationship. To raise awareness of the impact of emotional factors in working with “difficult”, challenging patients focusing on the doctor-patient relationship.

Prerequisites

Experience in working with patients. An idea of the natural and humanitarian nature of the psyche.Previous knowledge gained in course in psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy, PMUPK_008.
