Objective

To provide an understanding of the sciences of ergonomics and occupational physiology, the possibilities of applying them in occupational health in order to preserve the health and working abilities of employees.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

1.About ergonomics and occupational physiology (main theories, research methods, application possibilities in practice).

Skills

1.To apply methods of evaluating ergonomic factors at work, apply electromyography and pulse monitoring methods to evaluate workload, develop strategies for reducing the impact of ergonomic factors in the organisation, develop recommendations for employees to maintain their health according to the type of activity and workload.

Competence

1.To apply knowledge and skills in evaluating the ergonomic risk factors of the work environment and taking preventive measures in order to improve and maintain the state of health of employees.
