Welcome Week for International Students (Autumn Semester 2025)
From 26 to 29 August, the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) International Department will organise Welcome Week activities for international students.
The programme will take place primarily in the Great Hall, and lunch for new students will be served from 12:30 to 13:15 in the Daily dining hall. A dedicated area will be set up for students to receive and eat their meals.
During the event, the new international students will learn more about RSU and the country they have chosen for their studies; this includes the study process, healthcare, safety, immigration, student life, and the different organisations at the University. Incoming Erasmus+ students will attend an information session outlining important issues that are relevant to them. Find the full programme on the Welcome Week page.
Welcome Week is organised with the aim of helping students from different countries and education systems to learn more about studies here in Latvia and at RSU and to ease the first steps of living in a new country.
