When and where?
Meeting: 12.30 – Arrival and start at Pabaži Train Station
Estimated travel time: 2-3 hours with breaks
Return: one train stop back to Pabaži if you have left your car there, or take the train directly to Riga.
Route
- Pabaži station → White Dune
- Through the town to the White Dune, with a first stop to view the dune from above.
- White Dune → Saulkrasti centre beach
- A scenic walk along the Sunset Trail through pine forest, leading to the beach. A picnic stop is planned here before continuing the walk.
- Saulkrasti centre beach → Saulkrasti station
- We will follow the new trail to Saulkrasti Forest Park, which then leads to the station.
Depending on the pace, the walk takes 2–3 hours with breaks. In general, you should plan for about 3 hours.
