RSU students honoured for excellence in medical studies
On 11 November 2025, students of the Faculty of Medicine with high academic achievements in the 2024/2025 academic year were honoured in the Great Hall of Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU).

At an event that has now become a tradition, letters of commendation were presented to 24 local and 24 international students.
Prof. Jana Pavāre, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Smuidra Žermanos, Vice-Dean for International Students, and Arturs Balodis, Assistant Professor at the Department of Radiology and RSU Lecturer of the Year 2025 greeted those present with speeches and words of recognition for the students’ achievements. The celebratory atmosphere was further enhanced by musical performances by RSU graduate Ēriks Gorda. Family and friends of the outstanding students were also present to congratulate them.
