RSU LASE organises lecture on adjusting nutrition to training load and individual needs
On Wednesday, 11 March, nutritionist and coach Anita Siliņa will deliver the lecture ‘Adjusting Daily Nutrition to Training Load and Individual Specifics’ at the Rīga Stradiņš University Latvian Academy of Sport Education (RSU LASE). Anyone interested is invited to take this opportunity to expand their knowledge about balanced nutrition and its importance in maintaining physical fitness and health.
The lecture will cover the basic principles of nutrition and the importance of nutrient structure in daily meals. Siliņa will explain how to create a balanced diet that helps reduce body fat while preserving muscle mass, as well as how to ensure high-quality energy throughout the day, both for everyday activities and when combining work with regular training.
Special attention will be paid to nutritional nuances that promote effective recovery after physical activity. At the end of the lecture, participants will learn how to find a balance between nutritious and tasty food, as well as receive practical recommendations for creating their own daily nutrition plan. A discussion session is also planned, providing an opportunity to ask questions and discuss individual challenges.
The lecture is part of the RSU initiatives that promote public awareness of a healthy lifestyle and a scientifically grounded approach to nutrition and physical activity. Students, staff, and other interested individuals are invited to attend the lecture and gain practical knowledge that will be useful both in sports and in everyday life.
