RSU researchers strengthen international collaboration in Finland
Researchers Anna Žabicka and Diāna Kiščenko from the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) project (R)E-TIES visited Helsinki (Finland) from 19 to 23 March 2026 to strengthen international collaboration, discuss ongoing research projects, and develop new cooperation initiatives.
During the visit, a meeting was held with Associate Professor Aija Lulli (University of Eastern Finland), with whom RSU researchers have established successful cooperation in the development and implementation of various research projects. The meeting focused on discussing the results of the (R)E-TIES project and outlining future collaboration within the Latvian Council of Science project LALIFE. Opportunities for joint scientific publications and participation in other international research projects were also explored.

In addition, a meeting with researcher Agnese Bankovska (University of Helsinki) addressed current research directions and the further development of the RSU Master’s programme Social Anthropology.
