RSU comes together to celebrate Midsummer

Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) held its traditional Midsummer celebration on 16 June.
To shelter from the rain, the musical programme and the celebration of all the Jānises and Līgas celebrating their names days took place in the modern Pharmaceutical Education and Research Centre, but as soon as the sun came out, participants headed out into the courtyard.
The event was hosted by Lilija and Edgars Lipori, with music provided by the folk group Dārdari.
In his address to colleagues, RSU Rector Prof. Aigars Pētersons invited everyone to enjoy the summer solstice, take a break from the daily rush, and draw strength for new endeavors.
