The objective of the study course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills to be able to promote healthy lifestyle and disease prevention in their professional activities within their competence.

Basic knowledge of epidemiology.

1.To list the main public health problems and their causes; outline possible solutions to the problems.

1.To recognise aspects of public health problems in pharmaceutical care, discuss ways to improve patient health literacy.
Competence
1.To address situations in practice related to poor patient health literacy or other individual or systemic causes, and propose solutions.
