On 21 April, the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Student Union (Studējošo pašpārvalde, SP) annual awards ceremony, Golden Horseshoe Award (Zelta pakavs), was held to celebrate the Union’s 30th anniversary. As every year, this year’s awards honoured the top 11 events, personalities, and cooperation partners who have contributed to the RSU SP in the past year.
Monta Madelāne will defend her doctoral dissertation in an online open meeting of the RSU Health & Sports Science Degree Committee on 27 June. Her dissertation is titled 'Differences of Biochemical Endotoxin-Related Markers and Faecal Microbiota in Patients with HIV and HCV Infections'.
