Learning outcomes

Knowledge

1.The student will know:
• Explain the anatomical and physiological characteristics of the respiratory tract according to the child's age.

will be able to apply the following algorithms:
• difficult airway algorithm for a child;
• rapid intubation algorithm for a child in an emergency situation.

Competence

1.Student will be able to choose independently and realize practically the ensurance of airways for a child as well as a temporary anesthesia and analgesia for children in emergency situations, including during the diagnostic procedures and manipulations in the prehospital and hospital Admission Department’s phase.
