About Study Course
Objective
Acquire in-depth knowledge of paediatric pneumonology, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, treatment and prevention of various acquired and congenital respiratory and pulmonary diseases.
Learning outcomes
1.Know the development of the respiratory system, protective mechanisms and functions. Causes of chronic cough, acute bronchitis, pneumonias, various respiratory diseases (bronchiectasis, pulmonary diseases in systemic connective tissue diseases, interstitial lung disease, PCD, alpha 1 antitrypsin deficiency, pulmonary hypertension) diagnosis, differential diagnosis, prophylaxis, principles of therapy, choice of antimicrobials, routes of administration and indications.
1.Able to apply knowledge and skills to carry out in-depth examination, evaluation, interpretation of the obtained results, preparation of a treatment plan for patients with acquired and congenital lung and respiratory diseases at any age of the child.
1.Use the acquired knowledge and skills to perform the functions of a highly qualified specialist and to advise patients with acquired and congenital lung and respiratory diseases at any age of the child.
