About Study Course
Objective
The aim of the study course “Clinical placement in providing and managing chronic patient care” is to provide students with in-depth knowledge and practical skills in planning, coordinating and managing chronic patient care based on evidence-based practice and interdisciplinary cooperation. By taking this course, students will develop the competences necessary for effective long-term care, promoting patient wellbeing and improving the quality of healthcare services. The course achieves professional preparedness for self-sufficiency in the care of chronic patients, provides the basis for further specialisation and supports the achievement of the overall objectives of the study programme.
Prerequisites
Health assessment and diagnosis, provision and management of acute and chronic patient care, education, counselling and health promotion, clinical procedures and emergency medical assistance in extended competency nurse practice, betting and effective change management in healthcare, practices in primary healthcare and disease prevention, practices in the provision and management of acute patient care.
Learning outcomes
