Objective

To acquire the necessary knowledge and skills of cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy treatment techniques in clinical practice of psychotherapist:
1. To give theoretical knowledge and skills of short-term psychotherapeutic techniques – behavioral, cognitive-behavioural and group therapy - its features, main techniques indications and contraindications.
2. To give knowledge of the most characteristic therapeutic techniques in work with patients with different syndromes, personality disorders and developmental levels of personality organization.

Knowledge

1.Will be able to formulate principles of psychotherapy techniques, its effect mechanisms, indications, contraindications.

Skills

1.To use and analyse role of various psychotherapy techniques in the scheme of treatment.

Competence

1.Example-based knowledge, skills and attitude essential for working at a hospital and for research, raising public awareness via media; understanding of a team-work (work in groups) and its functions, psycho-dynamics, crisis situations and their solution; as well as the ability to manage the work of a multi-disciplinary team and be part of such team, supervise doctors and medical staff.
