About Study Course
Objective
Acquire knowledge of nursing patient therapeutic relationship-building basic principles, encourage the development of basic skills for successful communication and therapeutic relationship management.
Prerequisites
Psycho-social needs, Communication in health care, Transcultural care, Health care philosophy, Psychosomatic medicine, Stress management.
Learning outcomes
By completing the study course students are able to describe the basic principles of successful communication, therapeutic relationship and therapeutic environment building conditions.
By completing the study course the students are able to differentiate the patient's communication needs, assess stress related situations in patient care and develop an appropriate relationship model.
By completing the study course the students are able to analyze the patient as a personality, assess his needs in communication and generate therapeutic relationship management conditions.
