Objective

Encourage students to carry out a scientific study and defend the results of a study on health sports topics by implementing the approved scientific apparatus successively.

Prerequisites

Successful study course “Methodological foundations for scientific work”, selected subject of bachelor's work.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

Knows the conditions of conducting academic research, the importance of interpretation and analysis of research results.

Skills

By successfully completing this course, students will develop their skills in conducting independent research and will be able to demonstrate:
1. Understanding of the research organization.
2. Skills in independent research in the problems of implementation of health sports and physical activities, which include the selection and justification of the research topic, setting goals and tasks, formulating the research question, choosing the research data acquisition and analysis method, finding scientific literature, writing and designing the scientific research, research presentations and discussion skills.

Competence

Understanding of research paper development. Improvement of work presentation and presentation skills. Ability to independently analyze and present the results of research work. Understanding research current affairs in health and sports science. Development of a bachelor's work plan. Principles of research project application preparation. Ability to work in groups and individually. Skills to ensure communication with the public about research.
