About Study Course
Objective
To ensure the acquisition of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the diagnosis of kidney problems, evaluation of their functional condition and performance of various treatment methods in patients with diabetes.
Learning outcomes
1.Will obtain basic knowledge of kidney disorders in case of diabetes mellitus. Will learn to assess kidney function and determine the necessary treatment tactics. Will be competent in prevention of renal impairment.
1.Will be able to draw up a long-term examination and treatment plan in patients with diabetic nephropathy. Will be able to correct anaemia with Erythropoietin and intravenous iron administration upon necessity.
1.Competence in theoretical and practical matters regarding diabetic nephropathy. Ability to select a method of renal replacement therapy and to prepare for peritoneal or haemodialysis. Selection and application of the central venous catheter and prevention of complications.
