About Study Course
Objective
To provide the necessary theoretical knowledge of the aetiology, pathogenesis and sanogenesis of diseases and syndromes, according to the theoretical concepts and basic principles of traditional Chinese medicine. To ensure the acquisition of practical skills in identifying the aetiological factors of diseases and syndromes, in recognising the disorders caused by them.
Learning outcomes
1.As a result of completing the study course, the student is able to tell how to examine a patient, applying the basic methods of examination used in traditional Chinese medicine; able to list and interpret the clinical manifestations of diseases and syndromes, perform differential diagnosis thereof; able to interpret the results of lingual and pulse diagnosis.
1.The student will have acquired practical skills in patient examination, lingual and pulse diagnosis.
1.The student orients in and knows the methods of examination and diagnosis, according to the basic principles of the theory of traditional Chinese medicine.
Able to:
• collect anamnesis data logically and consistently;
• examine the patient using the diagnostic methods accepted in traditional Chinese medicine;
• interpret the obtained results in determining the leading clinical syndrome.
